Write for Written

The benefits of writing for Written?

Your working environment is unique to you. Have it however you want. Sit indoors, outdoors, in a cafe, on a boat… join me where I am in a relaxed and creative space in Colchester.

Before you start, you will need to supply an example of your writing and if you are accepted to join the team, then have some brief training. This can be in person, over the phone, via Skype or through email.

Writing website content is not the same as writing for a newspaper or a magazine. There is some technical ‘stuff’ you should be aware of. Also, writing blogs is different to writing content for web pages. Writing for an ecommerce site is different to writing for an information site… You get the picture.

We have to keep the quality of our content high, and to do that we need to make sure that all our writers are trained to write the way we need for the project at hand.

Plus you need to understand the content briefs you will be receiving.

Whether you are looking to make a name for yourself, want to improve your skills for writing online or just want to earn a bit of extra cash as and when suits you.. Get in touch, I’d love to hear from you.

Don’t want to join the team but want to learn to write online?

I provide training sessions to help you get to grips with what you want to know. Informal 1 to 1, or 1 to maximum of 10 people in training sessions tailored to suit.

My personal aim is to bring back respect for writers, and ensure they get credit where credit is due. In the perfect world, that will mean you get credited for the words you create and lovingly stitched together. In some cases this is possible, in many it is not. Let’s face it, if you already have a name for yourself, people will want to brag about the fact you have written for them, if you don’t and your writing is amazing anyway, some people will think your words are so great that they will want to claim them as their own.

If this is the case, at least you have experience under your belt, something to put on your CV, and added some notches to your well-worn keyboard on your way to authorship fame and fortune.

┬áThe world is your oyster… Isn’t it about time you started making your pearl?
